President Bush Signs H.R. 5715
Today at the White House, President Bush signed into law H.R. 5715 - the Ensuring Continued Access to Student Loans Act of 2008.
The bill increases loan limits for students, allows the Secretary of Education to purchase loans from lenders and takes steps to ensure the Lender-of-Last-Resort program is in place should a student not be able to obtain a loan.
