KHEAA - Financial Aid Tip of the Month, October 2008
Many high school seniors will be required to write college admissions essays, especially if they’re applying to a private college or university. College admissions officers use the essays to learn more about prospective students and their writing skills. Some colleges will provide a specific topic, such as how attending their school will help you achieve your goals. Others may ask you to choose from several topics, while some will let you pick the topic yourself.
